What patients say on Google
“I recently switched from a bad fit with another practitioner to Ivy. I initially spoke to Renee who got me in contact with the wonderful Jessica Burrell who handles all of my medical issues and weight management. I am so happy to be at one stop shop. And the recommended supplements have definitely helped. They are integrative and focused on the whole person! Great things so far”
“Ivy is absolutely wonderful! I see providers here for all of my mental health care - Renee McDougal for psychiatry, Cynthia Flores for therapy (who I actually followed from her previous practice to here when Ivy was founded), and Hannah Harris for Spravato for treatment resistant depression - and everyone is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, respectful, and deeply committed to helping you. Providers here see both youth and adults. I'm LGBTQ+ and everyone is extremely affirming of gender and sexuality. There is no blame or shame involved here with things like addiction/substance use, things that have happened in your past that maybe you aren't proud of and want to work through, how you have handled being abused, or not "achieving" certain milestones that society expects. They do both in-person and telehealth appointments. They have helped me with so much, from really listening to me and getting the actually correct diagnosis and medications to treat my mental illnesses, working through my cPTSD and trauma, dealing with general life stuff, and just being people I can trust with my secrets and privacy! The spaces are beautiful, warm, and welcoming, with so much personality (with each provider having their own dedicated office and not shared offices that are rather generic or medicalized like some of my providers in the past), and the waiting area is stocked with coffee and snacks as well as a lot of reading materials, especially for kids. The Spravato area is super comfortable with basically everything you need to be cozy during your 2 hour sessions - leather armchairs, blankets (and weighted blankets!), phone chargers, candy for the godawful taste, tables to set your stuff on, and a sound machine for privacy. Literally my only complaint isn't with the practice itself, but with the building and parking - there are other businesses along Glebe Street and so spots directly in front of the office door can be hard to come by, but there is plenty along the side of the building on W New Market St. I wish West Clay had put in a disabled parking spot on Glebe St, and there are stairs in the building without wheelchair access and so there are some accessibility concerns. I walk with a cane (when I need it for my physical disability) and do make it up the stairs, though. Overall, I cannot recommend them enough! I am just so impressed with Ivy with being around from the inception of the practice and seeing how it's grown to now.”
