“The level of care was Excellent out of most rehabs I’ve been to! Food was heavy but good. Make sure to bring your meds your prescribed prior to coming in. Shout out to my therapist she was excellent, my care coordinator was excellent and one particular NP went through my Gene sight map she was excellent too! Some nurses were better than others! Med times could be slow at times. But everyone there for the most part treated me with respect. Some of the techs could be passive aggressive. Make sure to bring your phone as well as if you have a Nintendo switch you can bring that! They offered spravado, TMS, yoga, wellbriety, a GYM and an arcade! The group coordinators were excellent as well!”

“I had an overall positive experience at ICFR. The staff genuinely care about the clients and many of the employees went above and beyond to provide support, encouragement, and help during difficult times. The facility helped me focus on my recovery and I met many wonderful people during my stay. There were a few areas that could be improved. During my time here, I was assigned three different counselors, which made it difficult to build consistency and maintain progress with one person. I would have preferred more stability in counseling services. Another concern was the food variety. Chicken was served very frequently, to the point that many residents became tired of eating it. Adding more variety to the menu would greatly improve the overall experience for clients staying for longer periods. I was also disappointed to learn that services such as Spravato and TMS were not included as part of treatment during my stay. Access to these options, or clearer communication about their availability, would have been helpful for clients seeking additional mental health support.”

“Overall, ICFR South Bend is a good place to start your recovery journey. The tech staff is great—they are helpful, supportive, and make a big difference in the experience. The food is okay, and the facility itself is better than average. The bedrooms are nice and comfortable, although not all of them have their own individual shower. Like any facility, there are things that could be improved, but overall I had a positive experience. If you're serious about getting started in recovery and willing to put in the work, ICFR South Bend is a good place to begin.”

“This place has done so much for me. The techs on the mental health floor are incredible along with the client care providers. I never imagined meeting so many amazing people and had so many amazing connections when I came in here but I’m going home with a better outlook on life and a whole new family.”
