How likely are you to recommend Viking Psychiatry & Wellness Fort Wayne?
“Treatment with Viking Psychiatry has been the best medical experience I’ve ever had. Walking into Viking there’s a sense of clinic-meets-spa. You may be greeted by Bjorn, the emotional support dog, as you walk in. The receptionist, Rochelle, offers warmth and a smile as genuine as your favorite auntie! The TMS was the right choice for me. My life has turned around. I was barely functioning at the start of treatment, and now I’m productive, making plans for the future, and I have a better handle on how to manage stress. I cannot say enough how blessed I have been by Mr Goddard and his staff!”
“Mr. Goddard and the entire team at Viking is amazing. You are greeted warmly by Rochelle at the front desk, she ensures you know where everything you might need while waiting. Chris RN, makes you as comfortable as possible while taking your vitals. Kayla, if not with a patient, shares the most welcoming smile. As possible, Deja shares her peacefully energy. Mr. Goddard battles your mental health and fights to ensure your wellness as if he was the Viking on the logo.”
“Showed up for my 2pm appointment around 1:54pm, only to be told there is a new check-in process that I wasn't made aware of. I confirmed my appointment online days prior and thought this was the only thing I needed to do since it's what I have always done when going there. No big deal, I said I could fill out the new form really quick before I see her. The front desk then tells me it will take too long, and that I couldn't get it done in time (I'm sure I could have). I was then told that since I did not complete the form before my appointment I was considered "late" even though I showed up early. I am well aware of the "show up 15-minutes early" policy. However, in the past this usually just ends up with me sitting in the lobby for 15-20 minutes waiting to see the NP. So naturally I stopped doing this. They then proceed to tell me that because I was "late" they will have to give me a $100 fine. I mean really? If it was a simple $20 or even $30 fine, then whatever, I would bite the bullet and pay. But to fine me $100 for an appointment I wasn't even technically late for, is just absurd. While the workers here are kind, the whole establishment feels like a cash-grab to take advantage and profit off of mentally-ill individuals. Aside from this, I was also briefly a patient for their IV ketamine therapy. I had been previously going to Indianapolis for Ketamine treatments, but when I heard a place had opened up in Fort Wayne I was eager to go since the drive was significantly shorter. During the induction phase of the experience I think I spoke with the doctor only ONCE. The experience always felt incredibly rushed, and I didn't feel I had time to recuperate after the experience whatsoever. It was so bad in fact, that I decided to just keep making the 2 hour drive to Indianapolis to continue treatment there instead. While the staff here are always incredibly kind and talented, There needs to be more consideration for the comfort of the patients and their financial situations.”
“This place, goodness. This place is the BEST resources for mental health support I have ever known or heard of. I have seen most of the providers in the office and they are supportive, empathetic, and so very smart (which makes them EXCELLENT at their jobs). I just finished a 6 week protocol with Ketamine treatment and my life has improved greatly. I am more patient with my kids, able to slow my mind down enough to rest (a first for me), and am able to work through the ASD symptoms I struggled with before this. I am so grateful for that ketamine experience and I am even more grateful for Viking Psychiatry. If you’re on the fence about getting help, this is your sign to do it. They even have non-medication options. I love love love this place.”
